DESCRIPTION:Join us for a white water adventure down the raging waters of the Platte  Cherry Creek!\nWhere to meet:\n9:00 am REI Flagship Store outdoor deck (by coffee shop)  at Confluence Park\nDON’T BE LATE! \nWhat:\nWe’ll meet at REI\, then leave some cars and shuttle up the Mighty Cherry Creek to the put-in near the Hungarian Freedom Park near 1st & Downing. \nHow:\nBYO boat / canoe / dingy / kayak / inflatable / etc. Just make sure it has OARS!\n(check Craig’s List\, Big Lots\, Target\, etc) \nBYO PADDLES\, LIFE JACKETS\, Sunscreen\, Shoes for in the water\, Clothes you don’t care much about\, Lunch money\, Water\, Sunglasses.\nWe’ll be out for most of the day\, so be prepared! \nLIFE JACKETS are required. The flow rate this year is 7 times what we’ve done before. \nCheck the latest Flow Rates here. \nWant to share a boat? Leave a comment below to see if anyone has extra room. \nExpect:\nMostly an easy float with Class 2-3 rapids every mile or so where there’s boat chutes. Yes\, we will need the Life Jackets! We’ll shoot the rapids\, then float some more\, until we finally arrive at the Confluence Park kayak chutes\, and we’ll bomb through there too!
